Brady Banks Releases Endorsements in Bid for Metro Council District 4

BRADY BANKS ONLY CANDIDATE TO RECEIVE MAJOR ENDORSEMENTS
IN BID FOR METRO COUNCIL DISTRICT 4 SEAT

Brady Banks, candidate for Metro Council District 4, has garnered every major endorsement in the race for the newly formed District 4 to date.

"I’m proud to have support of so many organizations that care so deeply for our city, its quality of life, and its economic prosperity," Banks says. "I’m especially happy that they believe I’m the best candidate to represent District 4 and move it forward."

Banks currently serves as Outreach Director for the Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation. Prior to his service with GBBF, he serves as the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods.

A native of Nashville, Banks is a McGavock High School alumnus. He graduated from Mercer University and Harvard Divinity School. He is married to the Rev. Kristin Clark-Banks, a United Methodist minister. He is board member of Nashville Emerging Leaders and past co-chair of Episcopal Relief and Development for the Diocese of Tennessee.

District 4 spans parts of southeast Davidson County, with its major corridors of Old Hickory Blvd., Edmondson Pike, Nolensville Rd, Holt Rd., and Hill Rd. The district borders I-65 and Franklin Pike Circle to the west, neighborhoods along Hill Road to Seven Mile Creek and along Old Hickory Blvd. to the north, Nolensville Rd. to the east, and south along the county line.
